Its Apple, its perfect!

This IPad has been great. I’ve never owned something this expensive or fast, so it was a bit of a learning process for my uneducated self. I mainly was attracted to this product because of the drawing and editing app Procreate. So I got the m2 pencil with my order as well. In regards to drawing, my mind is blown and I couldn’t be happier. The amount of detail and tools is awesome, great iPad and works great with procreate. The tablet is so big it feels like I’m just drawing in my sketchbook. I’ve never liked big tablets but this one is awesome because of the drawing capabilities. Great for watching videos and I haven’t lost my Apple Pencil at all because of the charging magnet. It keeps it on there pretty well and it’s very easy for me to stick it back on when I’m taking breaks from projects. I believe this tablet is for anyone who would like to take digital art to the next level, because this is the best product on the market for digital art in my opinion. I can lightly apply color to each pixel, undo anything, quickly and easily edit, and it’s an already fast iPad to begin with. In my opinion, very good. I had a first gen iPad Pro I got back in 2015 which I use pretty much exclusively for art, and tech has come a long way since then. The new iPad is, comparatively, incredibly fast with 4x the RAM and 8x the storage.What really surprised me is if you have a previous iPad, Apple has a really slick way of linking two iPads together so you can move all your files. It was fast and easy! Little unhappy with having to buy a new Apple Pencil, but that too is also a hot, quality product.I'm now doing 8,000x10,000 resolution illustrations on my iPad, 20 layers, no problems. I have a several years old ipad Pro 11. It seems as fast as my new 12.9 and the screen looks as sharp and bright. The 11 is a lot lighter and easier to handle. I guess what I'm saying, if you don't need the big screen size, buy the 11 instead.17 people found this helpful

I wish there was an option for Amazon to leave the package without required password. Also if not home be on standby for a phone call. If you don’t answer fast they will quickly send a message that you were not home. You can’t even call them back.I love my iPad super great for taking notes! Every Apple product I have owned has been a good quality product and this is no exception. Unfortunately some of the iPads and newer phones a very expensive. Maybe the old saying “you get what you pay for” applies here.My grandkids are still using the first iPad we bought 12 or 13 years ago. Been passed and dropped between three kids for 10 years. Product works great, but I failed to actually put its measurements into prospective - it's at least as large as my MacBook Pro, and perhaps a smidge larger, and it seems rather heavy. Bought this tablet for classes. I chose WiFi and cellular for those days with power outages that I can use data to continue my classes. How ever I purchase a sim from the phone company, I inserted the sim the tab shows that there is a working sim but the phone app is no where to be seen on the ipad. I deleted all the apps (factory reset) and that didn’t solve the issue. Followed a lot of tips from YouTube but to no avail.31 people found this helpful

I’ve been an Apple user since the early 90s. Im super happy with the new ipad M2. Was everything I expected.. Im a published photographer and now do all of my editing on this iPad. The new update M2 chip is lightning fast and has no issues handling large digital medium format photo files! Now with the new iOS 16.3 update, I can now connect to a large external monitor and split my workflow between two screens.. The only hiccup I had with the purchase was with the Amazon delivery person leaving the box on my porch well it was raining instead of at the side door where it was dry.. Lucky I caught it early and only the outside shipping box got wet and the inner Apple box was completely dry.. So no issues…53 people found this helpful

I ordered this new iPad Pro 6th generation 12.9 inch brand new as well as the apple pencil second gen. I tell anyone who's going to get this iPad to get it brand new instead of renewed or refurbished yeah you save a couple of hundred bucks but in my opinion there's nothing like brand new the battery life is awesome as a power user myself and an artist I upgraded from the first generation iPad 9.7 inch and apple pencil to this one and it has been a breath of fresh air for anyone getting this for their career or art it is a breeze it was worth again every penny I'm not restricted to layers and the display is immaculate I am very happy with my purchase. Once I got everything set up the first thing that I did was draw and again a picture clarity while drawing is like butter it is pretty heavy but it's also portable and fits into all of my carrying bags for on the go use. Love it but very large and makes handles it slightly difficult

Coming from the M1 iPad Air, upgrading to this new M2 iPad Pro with the larger and better screen, is definitely quite the upgrade. Screen is smooth and clear and vibrant. The M2 chip inside the iPad is just a power house as well for practically anything you want to do from Gaming, work, etc. This tablet should last a long time as well in general. Battery life can get me through the day browsing the web, listening to music and such.I also use this tablet to use Remote Play with my Playstation 5 and it is fantastic to play on when on the go. There is nothing not to like about the big screen iPad Pro.It is extremely powerful. The display is fantastic. And the stereo is great.The virtual keyboard is so good that, unless you do a lot of long form writing, a physical keyboard is essentially superfluous.It is also a very beautiful device.The only discordant note is that Amazon sent the wrong color. Probably because Apple slapped the wrong description on the box whose color correctly indicated the color of the device.Fortunately, the color they sent, silver, was my second choice. You can’t beat some of the art apps available. I would not replace my computer with it though. My school is google based, and the app functionality is significantly lacking compared to the browser based features. Apple all but forces you to download and use the apps. I am not an Apple fan, but this iPand and the ForScore app have changed my life when reading/playing music. Everything is on my iPand. The backlight always makes reading music easy, even when lighting is poor. The app is amazing and the iPad brings it to life. I'm normally a desktop, windows, and android person and rarely ever travel with a device other than my phone. I bought the iPad because I want to sketch while in any room in the house or while I'm waiting anywhere...bigger screen than my phone. While doing my research I didn't realize there was a cellular model. I want that feature. If I buy another iPad in the future I'll look for that. Now, the only downside is that there is a lag when I'm taking timed lessons on Duolingo. Messes up my score. Coming from a 2018 iPad Pro 11, I wasn’t sure it would be worth an upgrade, but decided to try it anyways after I started doing more photo editing and other more moderate usage tasks. Overall I’ve been extremely happy with my decision and the iPad overall for some of the reasons listed below.Display:- way better than I was expecting, even compared to the previous iPad pro. The extra brightness and HDR content on the XDR display is really noticeable (even during daily use), especially if you have a phone or camera that can capture videos in HDR.- Extra screen space from the 12.9 has been great, though more of a personal preference in that regardSpeakers:- great as always, no noticeable difference personallyPerformance:- while my 2018 iPad Pro wasn’t experiencing issues with most tasks day to day, this newer m2 pro has been a beast at tackling everything I’ve thrown at it with no noticeable performance impacts or slow downs. Working with an external SSD copying and organizing hundreds of GBs of data at once (managing old family photos, videos, files from years of backups) worked seamlessly, never felt the need to use a full mac/pc to manage things elsewhere.Software:- Might be a bit controversial, but I actually think iPads are better for most people for daily use in terms of applications. While you won’t be able to install certain apps that you might want to from the internet, the vast size difference in the App Store between iOS/iPadOS and macOS is staggering. Most any task you want to accomplish (note taking, drawing, photo editing, cooking, etc.) will have a variety of apps that will be solid to use.Overall I’ve been super impressed with this iPad, and feel confident in saying that for most average users or hobbyists doing multimedia work (photography, video editing, 3D modeling, etc.), this would be the perfect laptop replacement (especially when paired with the Magic Keyboard). While the iPad software still leaves some things to be desired, improvements including stage manager and other features have been more than enough for my use cases for doing all my personal projects since getting it.While I do love this overall, the price and value you get for it definitely isn’t for everyone. If you’re someone (like my parents) that doesn’t care as much about things like screen refresh rate for smoothness, or can’t tell a difference in screen quality between iPad screens on display at a store, then this might not be for you. My fiancé has an iPad Air that supports the latest Apple Pencil and she loves it for her use case (primarily watching videos, social media, and sketching designs for outfits she’s making).If you can justify the price hike though, I’m sure this will be an iPad that you’ll be able to use as your main “computer” and love for years to come. I didn’t realize how much more I needed this bigger screen size until I tried it out. It is Absolutely the Best ! Needed something portable but powerful enough to do some basic video editing on the go. This iPad gets it done in style.One thing to watch for…no GPS unless you get the cellular model, due to the fact the GPS chip comes on the cellular board.That was disappointing. Screen is beautiful. And this iPad definitely charges faster than my previous. The only design flaw is that the volume up/down buttons change when you flip the iPad from portrait mode to landscape and vise versa. Have you ever had one of the plus size model phones and it’s just too small? Here’s your answer, the most giant phone you could buy, but grab a pair of JNCO jeans while you’re at it. Nothing else will have pockets large enough to accommodate this beast.

So I was skeptical about buying, because come on, it’s Amazon lol. But I absolutely love the iPad, very expensive considering prices from other dealers but was the only place I could extend on credit and I’m glad I did. It does it all, and came packaged sealed. Very loose in the Amazon box but sealed from apple which is what I wanted. To ensure it wasn’t a refurbished or previously opened. Got it for my wife. She loves it and uses it all of the time.

I am using this as my primary tool for writing, emails, news, weather, and information gathering in general. It is working well for me. The screen size is good, bright, and similar to my 15” Dell laptop but much lighter. I purchased the Magic Keyboard with the iPad and love it. It is simple to use and operate. Battery last all day for me. I am away from home, traveling, and in need of something that is light and integrates well with my iPhone. This dose both right out of the box. I was a little hesitant about the storage, I purchased the 256 Gb option, and I am pleasantly surprised. I have iCloud services that I pay for, and online services like Google Drive that are simple to use. I am using the free apps for writing, but will possibly purchase the adobe products for earlier manipulation of documents.47 people found this helpful

What’s not to like - it’s an iPad Pro. Love this thing - work on it 8-9 hours a day. However, I have a hard time believing this was a new iPad. I ordered this to replace my last one as it fell from my bike and was ran over by vehicles. This is the latest one and of coarse they had to change things. Even the plug in is different. So now I have to learn new ways, again, frustrating. Oh well, when you quit learning, your dead. Sure is nice to have a new screen, and it works nicely. I'll figure it all out and will be happy with it like I was with my last one. And you know what, that last one still worked which amazed everyone. Display is great. The weight and performance is all good.

Had to order it twice, the first one sent was an 11 and 4th generation 128 mb I ordered 12.9 256 mb 6th generation which finally came on second order. The boxes have the same photo on the front and look identical, I can see the confusion. Read the back of your box before opening to make sure it states the right product then of course go to settings and look at what it is. I was going back and forth a lot, wondering if I should get the 12.9in or not, because the reviews of its size are so mixed. But I finally decided to pull the trigger and I’m so glad I did. I have no problem throwing this in my backpack and carrying with me daily. It does have a weight to it. I’d say lighter than my laptop but of course heavier than the iPad mini. The screen is gorgeous, I love streaming videos and doing digital creations with that much real estate of screen. I bought this with the intention of using it for digital art and I was not disappointed. It's a great device. A lightweight and compact powerhouse. Perfect for travel. If you're worried that the 12.9 is too big, it's not. It's like an extra large notebook. And the real estate on this is a good size for drawing. Definitely would recommend if you're looking for a device for just drawing on the go. And in this reviewer's humble opinion, it's not really close.Personally, I am moving from the M1 iPad Pro to the M2 iPad Pro. My wife needed a new tablet and I had some desire for cellular connection, so she took my M1 and I upgraded to the M2 with cellular.The upgrade in performance has been relatively unnoticeable from M1 to M2, save the new hover function with the Apple Pencil. I use my iPad for photography editing, so being able to keep my fingers off the display out in the daylight is a huge plus for seeing and quick editing photos. Outside of that, iPadOS really limits just how much more power you can get from the M1 to the M2. Heck, even the 2018 iPad Pro had all the power I truly needed.There have been a significant number of complaints regarding the camera placement on the iPad Pro vs other iPads in the lineup. A certain contingent of people buy the iPad Pro, not for its pro capabilities, but for its larger screen size. Personally, I do not use my iPad for Zoom calls or FaceTime calls very often, and when I do, the camera position rarely bothers me. I am just used to it. That said, if you are purchasing the iPad Pro and doing video calls is a function you will use often, the camera position is probably going to annoy you. Why would Apple put the landscape camera on the lower end iPads and not the top-of-the-line models? Pretty simple: Apple Pencil magnet.I have also not experienced any of the thermal or battery life issues that others have mentioned in their comments. This is not to say that their experiences are incorrect, just that I cannot comment on that.Overall, the 2022 iPad Pro is nearly identical in all measurables to the 2021 iPad Pro. And for many, even the 2018 iPad Pro will be sufficient for their needs. If you are looking, I'd not hesitate to purchase the 2021 model instead of the 2022. If you just want to ensure that you have the maximum number of years of support, then paying extra for the 2022 iPad Pro with M2 chip may be worth it.279 people found this helpful

Delivered at time promised. Easy to set up

It's everything you could want in an iPad. The features of the iPad Pro 12.9 6th generation are over the top. The touch screen is dreamy with a soft touch. I use the Apple Pen and it's capabilities are amazing from a light touch, drawing, correcting, erasing, writing notes and converting to text. The screen size is comparable to a laptop. Movies while traveling do not require squinting. Sound is excellent (no tinny sound). Sure the 12.9 is a bit more $ than the 11" but the extra screen size makes quite a difference for me. Add all the features to the RAM and storage, speed and high quality graphics and camera, and you've got the ultimate iPad. I purchased this iPad 6th generation to get the facial recognition which is amazing for logging in to many apps because it eliminates the need to enter passwords. I'm 68 and have no desire to keep a list of passwords! I love it. Kudos to Apple. I read a lot of reviews from tech experts and was hoping it would live up to the hype although they did recommend the 11" since the 12.9" really has no great upgrade on capabilities other than the large screen. The addition of Face ID on this unit (which replaced my original iPad Pro) removes the need to continually try to get Touch ID to work or to enter my password. That feature alone made it worthwhile to trade up.4 people found this helpful
